Homework is a vital part of learning that enhances the work undertaken in the classroom. We see it as essential that parents/carers are involved in the learning process of their children and would therefore urge you to ensure that your child completes all homework to the best of his or her ability.

Homework is set online using Show My Homework. You can access the whole school calendar on the home page of the school website. All students and parents are allocated a personal login and PIN so that they can access their personal homework page. If you do not have these or are experiencing difficulties please contact the school.

In year 11 each homework that is set should last approximately 45 minutes.
See the Year 11 homework timetable to see which subjects are set daily for each class.

Enrichment Programme

There is a large programme of additional learning opportunities encompassing sport, drama, music and art which is offered at lunchtimes and after the end of the formal teaching day. Many subjects also offer enrichment studies outside normal lesson time. The Learning Resources Centre is open each day after school for students to carry out projects or complete homework and coursework.
