  • Villiers Park residential courses - arranged for Oxbridge candidates, an opportunity to meet high ability students from other schools.

  • Year 13 Interview Preparation for Oxbridge/Medicine/Veterinary Candidates - carried out by the Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form to prepare candidates for the rigours of an Oxbridge/Medicine/Veterinary interview.
  • Researching and Referencing Masterclass - the school librarian leads the session in her own time to provide Year 12 students with important skills which will benefit them throughout Sixth Form and whilst at university.

Events - Spring Term
  • Subject Fair - Year 12 Gifted and Talented lead this event for Year 11 students. Great for developing organisational and leadership skills.
  • Debating - developing debating skills is important for all subjects to improve processing of information, argument, and persuasive writing.
  • Nuffield Research Placements - STEM students apply for a place on the prestigious Nuffield Scheme and, if successful, take part in actual research projects over the summer.
